Andy Clark is the Head of Commercial at Yorkshire Water. His role covers Procurement, Contract Management, Procure to Pay and Commercial Assurance. A procurement professional by discipline, Andy started out as an Environmental Scientist, entering the water industry is 2002. He has held roles across the asset management cycle, with leadership roles in Asset Strategy and Capital Delivery, prior to his current role. This gives him a strong insight into how commercial value is gained and lost through end to end processes. Much of his time is currently spent preparing the business for PR24 through the creation of new frameworks and pursuing opportunities for Direct Procurement for Customers (DPC), which he leads on. Yorkshire Water is introducing new commercial models for AMP8, including a new Alliance to manage its significant Storm Overflows programme, alongside revitalised non-infrastructure frameworks. He also continues to transform the commercial function at Yorkshire Water, driving a significant savings and sustainability agenda.
