Claire is the CEO of Scottish Renewables, representative voice of Scotland’s renewable energy industry since 2017; responsible for leading the organisation’s work to grow Scotland’s renewables sector and sustain its position at the forefront of the global clean energy industry.

Claire is a member of the First Minister’s Energy Advisory Board, as well as chairing the Barriers to Deployment Group of the Scottish Offshore Wind Energy Council. She sits on both the UK

Government Onshore Wind Industry Taskforce and Electricity Networks Delivery Forum.

In the King’s Birthday Honours 2025 Claire was awarded an OBE for services to economy and business.
