A NOTE FROM THE CONTENT DIRECTOR
As we approach the end of another decade, a watershed moment is upon the UK utilities sector. Publicised visions for sector transformation by 2030 and 2050 are no longer in the very distant future. Therefore it is now urgent that utility leaders, regulators and policy makers share a collective view of the key actions required to deliver the changes that climate change, societal shifts and technological advance demand.
At Utility Week Congress 2019, we will bring senior stakeholders from across the utilities sphere together to help forge this common collective view and provide inspiration to those within the industry who are responsible for realising strategic goals.
The event offers the opportunity to hear the opinions and expectations of chief regulators, policy makers and chief executives about how the sector and individual organisations are going to meet demands for increased efficiency, service quality, transparency and resilience. With focused technical presentations also on the agenda, it’s a rare chance to align both the vision and detail involved in creating the utilities of the future.
