As VP- Global Engagement for SEW, Steve is focused on shaping our strategy to evolve as a purpose-driven organisation using our platforms and influence to connect 3Bn citizens with their water and energy use. Based in the UK, Steve holds a Civil Engineering degree from Oxford Brookes University and a post-graduate diploma in Environmental Management from Anglia Ruskin University.

With over 30 years experience in utilities, he specializes in water and environmental sectors, having led on multi-million pound construction and business transformation programmes across the UK. His most recent role was in a senior leadership role with the market operator MOSL, running the UK’s recently deregulated retail water market. With a value of £2.5Bn annually, this market was a world first in water and Steve helped get this start up operator off the ground and running efficiently. He is a great believer in team working and harnessing the power of ‘constellations’ of energized and focused team members in an organisation. He has been influential across the wider water sector in delivering operational and change programmes for water utilities serving millions of customers. In 2012 he was the recipient of the prestigious Presidents Award from Prince Charles for his work for the global charity, WaterAid and has delivered civil service and utility training across Africa.
