Having started his career at British Gas, Martyn built up a wealth of knowledge of the competitive energy market and the requirements to understand the circumstances of customers and apply appropriate strategies in order to manage risk and deliver optimal value. Throughout his career Martyn has been integral to many successful retail energy and financial services operations, whilst delivering critical Transformation Programmes such as; Billing System migrations, Collections platforms, CRM system, automated Credit Scoring & decision engines, and DCA optimisations. With over 23 years’ experience as part of the senior leadership teams at British Gas, Experian, TransUnion (formerly Callcredit), SSE, Target and Ecotricity, Martyn has enjoyed great success in leading, managing, strategizing, consulting and transforming businesses and their customers’ journeys. He has been instrumental in the key objectives for these and many other businesses in the Energy, Water and Financial Services sectors, driving core initiatives ranging from; leadership development & succession planning; embedding positive cultural change, delivering high performing teams, whilst ensuring conduct and compliance adherence is achieved across the business.
