Head of test centre at TZW (part of DVGW) in Karlsruhe (Germany) specialized in testing materials and products in drinking water. Dr. Johannes Ruppert completed his PhD at the Federal Waterways Engineering and Research Institute (BAW) in Germany. His research focused on corrosion of construction steel. The goal was to find correlation between laboratory tests and data from real buildings in the environment. He started working at TZW with focus of testing of the metallic materials for the German positive list (4MS list) with presenting the results at Federal Environment Agency (UBA). Then he became head of all material test at TZW and since beginning of 2021 head of the test centre.
