Name
Womens Utilities Network
Description
WUN was started in 2018 when a group of likeminded women, working in utilities, united around a common cause. The five founders were not only passionate about the industry they worked in, but also passionate about the contribution women were making and could continue to make in the future.
The Utilities sector still lacks diversity and with many women still being underrepresented. Women make up only 28% of the Utilities workforce & 29.6% of leadership roles – Source Energy & Utility Inclusion Measurement Framework, 2025.
WUN has now created quite a movement. With over 10,000 members and followers and providing a variety events for members to attend as well as a free mentoring service. WUN goes from strength to strength due to our ambitious plans & in January 2025 we won Network of the Year at The Great British Businesswoman Awards.

We'd be delighted to investigate potential speakers for WUN particularly around themes linked to attracting and retaining diverse talent, supporting women into leadership and using data and tools, such as mentoring, to drive real progress in inclusion. We'd be happy to explore how we can add value to the agenda as well as discussing the possibility of hosting a stand, if this is suitable for this event, to showcase our work and connect with delegates.
