Sandy Mactaggart is the Director for Offshore Delivery at SSEN Transmission and holds responsibility for the development and construction of offshore transmission infrastructure, HVDC interconnectors and island connections.  Sandy is currently overseeing the construction of the Shetland HVDC Link and working with NGET in the development of the Eastern Green Link (2) HVDC interconnector project between Peterhead and Drax.  Sandy has held a number of senior roles within the public and private sector and was previously the Director for Large Capital Projects for the SSE Group.
