Owen Smith is the Water Supply Optimisation Manager for Bristol Water and joined over 4 years ago having previously worked in and studied renewable energy engineering. He joined to support the roll out of SUEZ AQUADVANCED® Energy across the whole of the Bristol Water supply area, and now leads the year ahead supply strategy: optimising operations to balance cost, energy and water resources. Since joining Owen has used his passion for engineering and problem solving to challenge existing operation to deliver some of the lowest energy consumption in the last 20 years through the use of AQUADVANCED® Energy and new and innovative approaches with support from operational teams.
