Dan is currently at Ofwat, where he is developing a framework to assess how water companies address vulnerability in PR19. He previously worked in public affairs and policy roles around the energy sector for nearly a decade. Before joining Ofwat, Dan led the work of Citizens Advice on smart metering and sat on the smart meter delivery group. He also headed a research programme aimed at embedding behavioural insights within consumer protections. In the past he campaigned extensively for improvements to policy on energy efficiency, distributed energy and building regulations, achieving significant change in Westminster, Holyrood and Brussels.
