The Electricity Storage Network (ESN) is the established industry group that provides a coherent and influential voice to promote electricity storage at the national and local level.
The ESN has raised the profile of electricity storage through patient and long-standing commitment over the past eight years. It works on behalf of its members to address issues affecting the development and use of network, grid and behind-the-meter connected electricity storage within the UK’s power systems. This includes proactive engagement with government departments and regulators and responding to industry consultations.
It is affiliated to other international energy storage groups, including the European Association for the Storage of Energy (EASE) and the Energy Storage Association (ESA, headquartered in the USA).

Energy Networks Association (ENA) is the voice of the networks, representing the electricity and gas transmission and distribution network operators in the UK and Ireland. Its members are diverse, from major international companies to independent network operators.
ENA is actively engaged with government, regulators and the EU Commission as well as producing a wide range of industry standards.
