Most organisations don’t have the time to unpack complex technical reports, models or engineering evidence in detail.
Yet in the water sector, critical decisions depend on getting that detail right.
With a PhD in Water Engineering, I specialise in turning complex technical evidence into clear, well-informed strategic and investment decisions.
My work focuses on cost, carbon, risk and performance — supporting organisations in balancing resilience, affordability and long-term public value.
Over the past 10+ years across the UK and EU, I’ve worked at the interface between engineering analysis and decision-making, helping to answer questions such as:
💧 Is this investment justified?
📊 What do the data actually tell us?
⚖️ What are the trade-offs, risks and long-term implications?
🌍 How can this be low-carbon, resilient and future-proof?
A core part of my role is ensuring that complex evidence is clearly understood by senior leaders, regulators and stakeholders — enabling transparent and well-informed decisions.
Alongside my professional role, I speak at conferences and industry events on evidence‑led decision‑making and STEM career pathways, drawing on my own transition from academic research into industry. I support PhDs and researchers to translate their research and analytical skills into industry contexts, bridging academic expertise and real‑world impact.
