The transition to clean power is one of the most monumental shifts we’ve ever seen for the energy sector. 2030 targets are fast approaching, while policy and regulation is in a constant state of flux. Arguably, ambiguity and a lack of clear direction is the biggest blocker to clean power.
The government is committed to the clean power journey, but questions remain over how quickly this can be achieved and whether we need to switch focus to lowering energy costs. There is also the added complication of communities and environmentalists’ opposition to new infrastructure being built that impacts nature.
How do we deliver the energy transition in a way that benefits nature and society within the government’s ambitious timeframe?

Utility Week’s Clean Power Conference brings together those taking an active role in the future of clean energy to accelerate a streamlined, effective and just transition.
This event will unite leaders from generation, transmission, distribution, consumer groups, environmental stakeholders and industry bodies to ensure a collective vision for clean power which benefits all involved.
We will assess the impact of the transition and development on the economy, communities and the wider environment, uniting key stakeholders to enhance planning and delivery, and provide clarity on the best path forward for all to benefit as we move towards Clean Power 2030 and beyond.
Join us in London for thought-provoking debate and networking with peers around what we must do to ensure a just transition to clean power in the UK.
