Ashleigh is a Chartered Scientist with a Bachelor’s degree in Science and over 11 years’ experience working in the water industry. Mostly dedicated roles in operations, process science and management. As a principal inspector, she leads an effective team to deliver the drinking water regulatory processes including water quality event investigation and prosecutions, drinking water quality compliance assessments, risk based technical audits, improvement of public supplies and drinking water standards. She is also responsible for the research programme and identifying new areas of research, latest technological advancements and best practices, as well as funding new research which aims to continuously improve drinking water procedures, standards and advice.
