Dr Stewart Husband has spent over 20 years researching distributed drinking water quality at the University of Sheffield, including the design and construction of world leading laboratory facilities, 1000’s of field trials in the UK and internationally, development of monitoring equipment and validation of innovative analytics and modelling tools. Investigating the processes governing how water quality changes during transport through our huge and complex distribution ecosystems, the understanding and co-created UK water company collaborative projects continue to deliver significant cost savings, reducing customer contacts and improving service in these critical assets.
