Nicola leads ScottishPower’s four regulated electricity networks businesses, responsible for a network spanning more than 170,000 kilometres across Central and Southern Scotland, North West England, and North and Mid Wales and providing a safe and reliable electricity supply to over 12 million people in the UK. She is at the helm of the most significant grid overhaul in generations, with a £12 billion transmission investment to modernise and expand the Central and Southern Scotland transmission grid, alongside driving forward major upgrades to the company’s distribution networks that will unlock 18 GW of new clean local energy by 2028 and enable the connection of 1.7 million electric vehicles and 2.5 million heat pumps. With over 30 years in the energy industry, including senior finance roles across the ScottishPower Group, Nicola brings extensive strategic and operational expertise.
