MUCH MORE THAN A TALKING SHOP...

Utility Week, the energy and water industry’s business-to-business media brand, drives change through its campaigning journalism, in-depth research and community-building events. We know that, as utilities lead the transition to net zero and grapple with the cost-of-living crisis, urgent action is needed. With the sector rolling out a new generation of low carbon infrastructure and adopting new business models, now is not the time for more talking: now is the time for delivery.

That’s why Utility Week Forum is so much more than a talking shop. We look at the strategic priorities for utilities and explore the levers to deliver those priorities. We provide a unique opportunity for pan-utility leaders to come together and learn from one another. Many conferences promise to do things differently – this is our commitment to deliver on that promise.

INFLUENCE

Deliver real influence, to the people that matter, with regulators, policy makers and other government representatives from across water, gas and electricity invited not just as speakers, but also as guests to hear directly from utilities on the biggest challenges. We’ll ask them to feed back at regular points throughout the conference, creating a conversation that will genuinely drive change. The outcomes from the conference will feed into future Utility Week campaigns and content.

INTERACT

We want to hear from you. As senior leaders in the industry, our delegates have unmissable insights to share. The agenda has been designed so that delegates are active participants in the discussion; sharing their thoughts and experiences, working together to solve real world challenges and setting out their expectations of policy makers.

REFLECT DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Speakers on the agenda will be a diverse pool, reflecting the need for a future energy system and water network that works for everyone. We will be approaching speakers from a variety of utilities, job functions and more to ensure a well-rounded discussion and help organisations to bridge the internal gaps between strategy and delivery.

DELIVER THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Our commercial partners are an important part of the conversation – but they must be the right partners, and they must bring genuine thought leadership to bear. Utility Week Forum will only work with companies who can truly help utilities in bridging the gap between strategy and delivery.  There’ll be no sales pitches on stage!

BE OUTPUT DRIVEN

Our events and editorial teams work closely together to ensure our events lead to a shift in perspective. We commit to the following:

  • Editorial teams capturing valuable and bold ideas which we’ll share widely

  • A post-event report detailing the key outputs from the event to be shared one month after the event

  • Updates on the Trilemma Taskforce created from the Utility Week Forum 2022

  • Onsite access to unique editorial content
